Upwell Intel ("Upwell", "we", "our") operates upwellintel.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep it short because we don't collect much.
When you request early access or subscribe, we collect your email address and optionally your name and a brief description of your acquisition focus. We use this to send you signal reports and product updates. We do not sell or share this with third parties.
When you submit a "Request a Market" form, we collect your email address, state, industry/niche, and optionally your firm name. This tells us where to expand our signal coverage. We may follow up via email.
We collect basic page view data (URL, timestamp, approximate geography derived from IP) using server-side analytics. This runs entirely on our infrastructure. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party tracking scripts. No data leaves our servers to ad networks or analytics vendors.
We do not use third-party cookies. We do not run ad retargeting. We may set a minimal first-party session cookie for referral tracking (e.g., recording the source of a signup). No behavioral tracking profiles are built on our users.
We do not use your data to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or sell leads.
Email signup data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@upwellintel.com. We will remove your record within 7 business days.

All data is stored in the United States. We do not transfer personal data to jurisdictions outside the US.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email privacy@upwellintel.com. We do not require account creation to exercise these rights.
Email addresses and form submissions are stored in an encrypted PostgreSQL database with access restricted to the Upwell team. We do not log or store payment information (we have no paid product yet).
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted at the top with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
